Israel, Here I Come!

Today is the long-awaited day. My bags are packed. My preparatory Bible Study is completed. Let the experience begin. Israel, here I come!
I want to approach this trip with wonder and thankfulness. What an amazing opportunity to put my faith in a historic context. To see 3000+ year old history, traditions, and architecture will be mind-blowing!
I’m heading to Israel on a church sponsored tour. Steve is unable to make the trip, because of his chronic, every- other-day migraines. My travel companion is my good friend, Belinda. We know several other people on the tour from our former church, Eastside, in Prineville. There will be 28 in our group. We will be in Israel from March 7-17.
Lord, I pray that you would open my eyes, ears, and heart to receive all that you want me to learn on this trip. May I come back changed and renewed. Thank you for the privilege of going, and for Steve’s blessing and encouragement for the journey.
